Presentation
of Tea (H nda)

Ceremony of offering tea by the lovers of tea with heart and mind in front of the Buddhist priest Cho i's portrait

Tea-taking
(Haeng-da)

While silent music is being played, the traditional custome of tea-taking with a guest is demonstrated. After then, tourists are also informed of the method of letting tea draw, and are given opportunity to participate in person.

Restoration of
Paekje Tea

Since Paekje-period costume, tea utensils, manner of serving tea, etc. which are unearthed from Korean Classics are actually demonstrated, you can see Korean traditions and the mode and taste of life which were prevalent in the era of the Paekjae Dynasty.

Iljiam
Tulchahoe

Tea is offered to Buddha and Buddhist priest Cho i at Iljiam where Cho i dwelled for 40 years. Tea societies gather together from the whole country, and offer and share tea with one another. They also serve tea to tourists.

Music Festival

Hour of listening to music on the theme of tea. Pansori tunes of Namdo (Provinces south of Kyonggi Province) are also played together.

Tea Picture Exhibition

A picture exhibition where you can see at one sight the different shapes of tea changing throughout the 4 seasons, and the process of tea production.

Tea Competition

Event in which children, members of college circles, members of tea societies, etc compete with one another about their tea life they have trained, and learn from each other about the spirit, refinement, utility, etc. of tea.
